A Gentle Place to Connect
With the Baby in Your Heart

FREE 20-MINUTE CONCEPTION CHANT

A fertility practice that doesn’t ask you to do more

Your fertility journey may already feel like a long list of things to track, schedule, research, and get “right.”

This chant offers something different: a place to pause, listen, and reconnect.

Inspired by the conscious-conception teachings in Walter Makichen’s book Spirit Babies, the chant uses a simple sequence of sounds to create an intentional space of love, welcome, and connection.

You can sing along, hum softly, or simply close your eyes and listen. There is no required experience and no perfect way to practice.

What You’ll Receive

  • A 20-minute sung version of the Spirit Baby Conception Chant

  • A gentle melody that makes the sounds easy to follow and remember

  • A calming practice for TTC, fertility treatments, or the two-week wait

  • A simple way to connect with your heart and womb space

  • A meditation you can use while resting, walking, journaling, or moving through your day

Why I created a 20-minute version

My sister introduced me to Walter Makichen’s book Spirit Babies, and I felt deeply drawn to the Conception Chant. With each client’s permission, I began singing it during fertility bodywork as a way to create a loving, intentional space around the womb.

Singing the sounds made the practice feel more natural and easier to remember than repeating unfamiliar syllables without a melody.

I chose 20 minutes because it fits naturally into the belly-work portion of a fertility session, a castor oil pack, or a safely timed yoni-steaming ritual. Now I’m sharing the recording so you can experience this practice in your own home.

Use it in the way that feels right for you

Listen while:

  • Resting with your hands softly over your womb

  • Walking or journaling

  • Preparing for sleep

  • Moving through everyday activities

  • Using a castor oil pack before ovulation

  • Practicing yoni steaming at an appropriate time in your cycle

  • Navigating fertility treatment or the two-week wait

The chant can always be used by itself. After ovulation, during the two-week wait, or following an IUI or embryo transfer, pause castor oil packs and yoni steaming. Simply rest, breathe, and listen with your hands over your womb.

Be Open to the Experience

Some women experience a sense of connection with their future baby’s spirit. Others simply feel calmer, softer, or more present—and both experiences are meaningful.

You may experience emotion, warmth, calm, a sense of presence—or nothing unusual at all. You do not need to receive a sign or profound message for the practice to hold value.

Give Yourself 20 Minutes to Soften and Connect

Let this gentle sung meditation accompany you through the waiting, uncertainty, and hope of trying to conceive.
